Roarr! Trip

In September 2019, Mildenhall beavers attended Bury St Edmunds District annual beaver day trip. This year, it was an exciting visit to Roarr!, a dinosaur themed adventure park. We were lucky enough to be invited to join with another beaver unit in the district and we all had lots of fun making new friends. Roarr! is home to an aerial high rope course which some of our very brave beavers had the opportunity to have a go at accompanied by our Young Leader (who was slightly more terrified than the beavers themselves!!). We spent a lot of the day navigating the park and learning all about the dinosaurs and animals at the park before finishing our day with a long stint in the play area with our new friends – all before the rain came!

In summary, we had a wonderful day and made lots of new scouting friends who we’re looking forward to seeing again when we go to future district events!
