Scouts Update Spring 2020
Recently, the Scouts have completed a survival camp, learning basic survival skills like shelter building, firelighting, axe skills and proper knife technique, following from a 13km night hike.
We have been focussing on navigation skills and teaching Scouts about various knots. We also took part in some Geocaching in and around MIldenhall (one of the photos attached).
We have also been completing a CREST Bronze Award, which is a nationally recognised Science Certification. They are designing and building a rain catching device to help in third world countries, investigating the impact of bacteria spread in unclean water supplies.
